Whether it is love for your partner or for your child, the beauty about love is that it is so unique.
I’m married to Nick, a farmer. We have three children, twins Fred and Harriet and Louisa. Then there’s Harvey the one eyed English Pointer, a beautiful horse called Cameroon, two Dartmoor hill pones, Arthur and merlin and some dazzlingly glamorous hens all named after pop stars, who are way to cool to lay on a regular basis. That completes the family.
I also happen to be a family celebrant. Nick and I ran a marquee hire company for some 20 years and indeed still run a small event hire company, Fanfare Event Hire. So I am all too familiar with the challenges and intricacies involved in organising weddings and events.
My friends, I think, would describe me as honest and direct but also fun loving, loyal, kind with a ridiculous sense of humour.
What do I love? My husband, my children, my friends, to laugh, to dance, to party, to eat, to ride, listen to music and so much more.
I don’t love confrontation, walking up hill, seagulls, sitting on a beach in the pouring rain, grumpy, unkind and rude people.
I am organised and hard working. I believe that life should be celebrated and I see the act of Ceremony as the perfect opportunity to publicly celebrate love, family and commitment and to raise our glass in honour of the beautiful world we live in. Short or long, silly or straight, your ceremony should reflect exactly who you are as individuals and as a couple and together we can make it perfect!
Your ceremony is in fact the most important part of your wedding adventure so it deserves way more than a cut and paste run-of-the-mill job. It needs the right amount of laughter and the right amount of tears and the beauty of those shared moments should be remembered forever.
If you are looking for a lively celebrant that radiates style with a smile you’ve come to the right place.
