I’m Frances but everyone calls me Fan

It is so important that you have a real rapport and connection with your wedding celebrant so let me tell you a little bit about me.

I am an experienced and sought after wedding celebrant and have presented ceremonies in many of the west country’s most prestigious high end venues as well as some beautiful family gardens and farms across the UK.

I love being a wedding celebrant

Prior to becoming a wedding celebrant for over 20 years my husband and I ran a marquee and event hire business supplying tents, furniture and tableware for weddings and parties. So I have been in the industry a little while.

With this background and my genuine interest in getting to know people and love of storytelling I don’t feel being a wedding celebrant so much as a job but a vocation. I absolutely love it and feel honoured and privileged to be playing such an important role in such a momentous life event.

I would be so thrilled to work with you to create a wedding ceremony that not only will you love but will also enchant, enthral and amaze your guests.  With a celebrant led ceremony the notion that a civil ceremony has to be generic and templated can finally be brought to an end. Your ceremony will be unique and bespoke with your story at the heart of it.

I really care about creating a moment that will last a lifetime both for yourselves and all your families and friends.

Dance, Animals, food, shopping, friends

Apart from my job as a wedding celebrant I love to dance, swim in the sea, horse racing, the countryside and walking my labradors, Prudence and Martha. I love good food and wine and going to London to see my now very grown up children.   Whilst there I’ll try and go to the theatre, grab an hour in the V & A, meet a friend for lunch, shop of course and even combine it with meeting one of my many London clients!

My friends tell me I’m warm, kind and generous and make them laugh. My couples have told me I’m fun, relaxed and put them at ease and feel they have made a new friend which I consider a massive compliment.
