I'm Fan

I love a quintessentially English wedding.

A country house. A marquee in a garden.
Beautiful clothes, glorious flowers, beautiful invitations and everyone you love gathered in one place.

I was married in church myself, and perhaps that's where my respect for the traditions and symbolism of wedding ceremonies began.

The anticipation. The procession. The vows.
The exchange of rings. The music. The sense that something significant is taking place.

You don't need to marry in church to have any of that.

experience

Weddings have been part of my working life for a while. Before Fanfare, I spent more than twenty years in the events world.

I believe that the ceremony isn't something separate from the wedding. It sets the tone for it.

people

I love people.

Getting to know them. Listening properly.
Spotting the things they say without realising their significance. Then finding the words that sound unmistakably like them.

I bring warmth, humour and a reassuringly safe pair of hands.

And I never lose sight of the occasion.
