Every wedding ceremony I write is unique. Every co Every wedding ceremony I write is unique. Every couple is unique and are special in their own ways. And yet, somehow, the common denominator between all my lovely couples is me. My style, my approach, my
humour. They all seem to connect with that, and I treasure every single couple who lets me be part of their story. 🩵
This year, if I had to choose a stand-out it would be the extraordinary connection I felt with Tory and Kieran. I’ll
remember their wedding for a long time… why? Simply because of them. They really were ‘my people’ in every way. 🫶
And then the extraordinarily emotional ceremony for Fabiana and Scott. Fabiana’s mum is lovely dear friend of mine. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and with what we thought were only weeks to live we put together the most wonderful ceremony that was held at home. Miraculously and thankfully she’s still with us. But that day in late June will be a day I’ll never forget. 🩵

WHY CHRISTMAS & WEDDINGS ARE MORE SIMILAR THAN YOU WHY CHRISTMAS & WEDDINGS ARE MORE SIMILAR THAN YOU THINK 🎄🫶
Christmas and weddings are two of life’s most cherished celebrations, each steeped in rituals, traditions, and heartfelt meaning. While one marks the joy of the holiday season and the birth of hope, the other signifies the union of two lives in love and commitment. At first glance, they may seem like unrelated events, but the parallels between Christmas and wedding traditions are undeniable. Both bring differing generations of people together to celebrate love and both are rich with symbolism that resonates deeply with participants and observers alike. 🩵

The magic of Christmas set against the wonder of a Wedding Day, perfection!
Winter weddings really do have a lot going for them. It’s an unorthodox choice, nearly three quarters of weddings take place between May and October, yet if done well, a beautiful one.
The season after all arrives with so many emblems of romance, roaring fires, snow blanketed landscapes, candles & fairy lights and on a practical basis more choice of suppliers, potentially better rates and no wedding fatigue.
I have bags of availability still for winter 2026 You love her. She loves you. What are you waiting for? Go for it. Have a lovely romantic winter wedding - and book me to write and present your ceremony!
